How to Make Sweet Potato Toast

I love a good ol’ piece of toast for a quick snack, but sometimes it’s nice to mix it up a bit! Using sliced sweet potatoes adds some natural sweetness, plus a boost of fiber! Sweet potatoes take forever to bake, so if you’ve got a few sitting around that you’ve been too impatient to pop in the oven, try the toaster! The key is slicing them fairly thin and running them in the toaster a few times!

Here’s how to make sweet potato toast that turns out perfectly every time!

  1. Slice sweet potato vertically into long slices slightly thinner than 1/4-inch thick.
  2. Toast each batch of slices in your toaster on high 3-4 times, until cooked through.
  3. Top with desired toppings and eat! More on that in a bit 🙂
