Happy Thanksgiving, friends! Just wanted to leave something short, sweet, and extra cheezy for you on this day of gratitude. I hope you all have your most comfortable pair of yoga pants on enjoying all the delicious foods with your dearest family and friends. Thanksgiving truly is one of the best holidays because it’s not about gift-giving, or dressing up, or shooting fireworks–it’s simply about giving thanks and being present.
I have so many things to be thankful for right now. I’m so lucky to be getting an amazing education while working an internship that I truly enjoy. I have family and friends who love and support me in everything I do. I’m healthy, alive, and well. Sometimes we get so narrow-minded and can only see little grievances in our daily lives, but when we step back and look at it as a whole, we can really see just how much we have.
I’m also eternally thankful for this little piece of Internet I get to call my own. It is still mind-blowing to me that I was able to turn my crazy dream of a food blog into an actual site and that people are reading and cooking my recipes. That is insane to me! I am thankful for EVERY SINGLE READER that comes to my site. Your comments, messages, and follows all put the biggest smile on my face. Thank you for allowing me to do something I am crazy in love with!
Did I mention the amazing group of bloggers I’ve met through this whole process? I am SO thankful for them. They inspire, encourage, advise, and motivate me every single day. They welcomed me into this crazy food blogging world without hesitation, and they’ve made my beginning months as a blogger so much easier. When I succeed, they’re my cheerleaders. You guys ROCK!
Don’t beat yourself up about all the food you’re going to eat/already ate today; just enjoy the time you have with your loved ones and the beautiful food you get to share with them.
I said it once, but I’ll say it again: thank YOU. Yes, you, the person reading this. Whoever you are, thank you for coming to my blog. It means the absolute world to me that you stopped by.
Have a very wonderful Thanksgiving everyone! See you Tuesday for a super delicious recipe?
